23rd Anniversary of the Indian Ladder Trail Runs
Come join us for the 23rd annual Indian Ladder Trail Runs on Sunday, July 23, 2017.
Trail runs of 15k and 3.5 mile distances in majestic John Boyd Thacher State Park. There will also be a 1 mile Kid's run.
The 15k AND 3.5 mile races both start at 9:00 a.m. The Kid's 1 mile run will begin at 10:30 am.
VOLUNTEERS are asked to report by 7:15 a.m. to assist with set-up, get volunteer assignments and instructions.
Directions
From Albany: I-90 to Exit 4, Route 85 West for 11.5 miles to top of Salem hill, Right on Route 157 for 4 miles to Thacher Park.
From Altamont: Route 156 (up the hill), Left at Route 157, Follow signs to Thacher Park.

I know that trail running is a potentially hazardous activity. I attest that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to volunteer at in this event. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely volunteer. I assume all the risks associated with volunteering in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and in consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Hudson-Mohawk Road Runners Club, the State of New York, New York State Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation and Thacher State Park, their sponsors and officials, representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or organizations named in this waiver. I also understand that the use of headphones, ear buds, or other listening devices during this race is prohibited and may result in my disqualification. I give my permission to use any photographs, videos or other such recordings that may be taken of me at this event without remuneration or fee.
Races fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, including for weather related cancellations.
