  Volunteer Waiver

  I know that volunteering at a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I attest that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to volunteer in this event. I assume all the risks associated with volunteering in this event, including but not limited to falls, the effects of weather including hypothermia, traffic and conditions of the road. I also understand that the use of headphones, ear buds, or other listening devices during this race is strongly discouraged for reasons of safety.
  

  Having read this waiver and in consideration of your acceptance of my voluntary participation, I for myself and anyone acting on my behalf, waive and release the Hudson Mohawk Road Runners Club, Road Runners Club of America, The State University of New York, the City of Albany, their officers,agents and employees, their  representatives, officials and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my voluntary participation in this event, even though liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the organizations named in this waiver and/or their volunteers or employees.
  

  Further, I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use any photographs, video, or any other record of this event for advertisement or other legitimate purposes.

  2.95 & 5.9 Miles

  Run 1 or 2 loops of the UAlbany Campus Perimeter to commemorate 50 years of HMRRC fulfilling the mission of bringing all kinds of running to the regional community!

  Race is $10 for non-members.  Or pay $12.00 for a one year club membership and run this race plus 7 or 8 other races throughout the year for FREE.
  

  Runner / Participant Waiver

  I know that volunteering at a road or trail race is a potentially hazardous activity.  I am physically able to perform the activities I have or will be assigned.  I assume all the risks associated with volunteering at this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with participants, the effects of weather, including hypothermia or frostbite, traffic and the conditions of the road or trail, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.  Having read this waiver, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Hudson Mohawk Road Runners Club, the City of Schenectady, MVP Health Care, Fleet Feet Sports, the Schenectady YMCA, and USA Track & Field, Inc., their representatives, officials, and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or organizations named in this waiver.  I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, videos, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.   

  For volunteers under the age of 18:  As the parent or legal guardian of a minor, I accept the above provisions for that minor and acknowledge that the minor will be in the custody of the parent or legal guardian during his/her participation.
