  • Assist with coordination of start. We will have signs that runners with higher numbers should stay behind, and volunteers will instruct runners as to where to line up. In addition runners should be encouraged to social distance and where masks until the race begins. After race starts these volunteers will pick up discarded clothing and masks.
  • You will be positioned on an intersection along the course and may have to move barricades. There will be Police support on busy intersections and traffic will be closed until the majority of the pack has passed. Additional details and your exact location will be sent to you the week before the race.
  • During the week leading up to the Stockade-athon, volunteers are needed to deliver notices to homes along the course route advising them of when certain streets will be closed on race morning. Each volunteer will be assigned a section of the course, and notices would need to be distributed anytime between November 7th and November 12th. Pamphlets, maps and further instructions will be provided.
