2022 The Doug Bowden Winter Series Race#1: 5.5k and 15k

Waiver: 

I know that running a road/trail race is a potentially hazardous activity.  I attest that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to compete in this event.  I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run.  I assume all the risks associated with running in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including hypothermia or frostbite, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.  Having read this waiver and in consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Hudson Mohawk Road Runners Club, USA Track & Field, Inc., University at Albany, The People of the State of New York, the NYS Office of General Services, their officers, agents, and employees, and any of the above entities' sponsors, officials, representatives, and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or organizations named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, videos, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I also understand that the use of headphones, ear buds, or other listening devices during this race is strongly discouraged because the course is open and used by other runners, walkers, cyclists and vehicles making it important that I as a participant be aware of my surroundings.
